EIR Process Timeline

January 2009
The PUC issued the Draft EIR.  

January through April 2009
The Draft EIR will be used by the Commissioners to receive comments from the Monterey region about the Coastal Water Project and the water supply alternatives that have been included in the Draft EIR.  

September 2009
The PUC will issue the final EIR.

February 2010
The PUC and local agencies will certify the final EIR.  

March 2010
The PUC will order California American Water to pursue a water supply project.
